Sangam InfoAnalytics — GSTfy & PrivoBooks Effective date: 5 June 2026 · Last updated: 5 June 2026

Sangam InfoAnalytics ("we", "us", "our") respects your privacy. This policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and your choices. It covers our website (sangaminfoanalytics.digital), the purchase and activation of our software, and the GSTfy and PrivoBooks desktop applications. We process personal data in accordance with applicable Indian law, including the Information Technology Act, 2000 and the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 (DPDP Act).

1. Our privacy-first approach

GSTfy and PrivoBooks are offline desktop applications. Your business data — invoices, bank statements, client records, accounts, GST data, and reports — is stored locally on your own computer. We do not collect, transmit, or have access to that data, except in the limited, optional cases described in Section 4.

2. Information we collect

a) Website and enquiries. When you use our contact form or contact us, we collect the details you provide — typically your name, email, phone number, the product you are interested in, and your message.

b) Purchase and activation. To sell and activate a licence, we collect your name, contact details, the machine code of the computer on which the licence will run, and a record of your payment (we receive confirmation of payment; card/bank details are handled by your bank or payment method, not stored by us).

c) Support. When you request support, we may receive information you choose to share, such as error logs, screenshots, or a description of your issue.

d) Website technical data. Our website may collect basic technical information (such as IP address and browser type) and, if enabled, limited analytics to keep the site running and improve it.

3. How we use information

We use the information above to: respond to enquiries; issue and manage licences and activation keys; provide updates and support; process and record payments; prevent misuse or fraud; and comply with legal obligations. We use it only for these purposes and do not sell your personal data.

4. Data that leaves your computer (limited and optional)

  • Online AI bill reading (GSTfy, optional). GSTfy offers an optional online AI mode to read bills. If you choose to use it, the relevant bill image/text is sent to a third-party AI service using a key you configure, solely to return the extracted data. A fully offline OCR option is also available if you prefer no data to leave your computer. This feature is entirely your choice.
  • Other than the above, the applications do not transmit your business data to us or to third parties.

5. Sharing and disclosure

We do not sell your personal data. We may share limited information with service providers who help us operate (for example, payment confirmation or, if you opt in, the AI service above), and we may disclose information where required by law or to protect our legal rights. Any such sharing is limited to what is necessary.

6. Data retention

We retain enquiry, purchase, and licence records for as long as needed to provide and support the Software, maintain business and tax records, and meet legal requirements. We retain support information only as long as reasonably necessary.

7. Security

We take reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect the personal data we hold. Activation keys are cryptographically signed and machine-bound. No method of storage or transmission is completely secure, but we work to protect your information.

8. Your rights

Subject to applicable law, including the DPDP Act, 2023, you may request access to, correction of, or deletion of the personal data we hold about you, and you may withdraw consent where processing is based on consent. To exercise these rights, contact us using the details below. We will respond within a reasonable time.

9. Children

Our products and website are intended for businesses and professionals and are not directed at children.

10. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. The "Last updated" date above reflects the latest version, and continued use after an update constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
