We usually reply within a few working hours, and aim to respond to every request within one working day.
What support covers
For licensed users (and during your free trial), we help with:
- Installation and first-time setup
- Licence activation, and moving your licence to a new computer
- Guidance on using features (GST return preparation and reconciliation in GSTfy; statement parsing, accounting, and reports in PrivoBooks)
- Bug fixes and software updates within your update period
- Backup and restore questions
What to include when reporting an issue
To help us resolve things quickly, please share:
- The product and version (GSTfy or PrivoBooks)
- Your machine code (for licence/activation issues)
- A short description of the problem and the steps that led to it
- Any on-screen error message, and the
error_log.txtfile from the app folder if available
What support does not cover
- Accounting, tax, or legal advice — the Software is a tool; you remain responsible for verifying all returns, statements, and reports (see License Terms, Section 6)
- Issues caused by third-party software, hardware faults, or operating-system problems outside the Software
- Recovery of data that was not backed up using the built-in backup feature
Updates
Your licence includes one year of updates from purchase. We'll let you know when updates are available and how to install them.
